The short version
The standalone Technician Toolbox performs its calculations on your device and does not send your calculator entries to BAP Technical Solutions. The free version displays a restrained Google AdMob banner. A one-time in-app purchase removes advertising; every calculator remains available without a purchase.
Information the app handles
Values you enter are used only to calculate and display results during your use of the app. The app does not ask for your name, contact details, precise location, photos, contacts or payment details, and it does not create a BAP or GenInspect account.
Advertising and consent
Google Mobile Ads may process an IP address (which can indicate general location), app interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and device or advertising identifiers to provide advertising, measure performance and prevent fraud. This information is encrypted in transit. Where required, the app asks for your advertising consent and provides a privacy-options control. The app requests non-personalised ads, but Google may still use contextual information and the data needed to deliver, measure and protect the service.
Purchases and app stores
Apple or Google processes the optional remove-ads purchase under its own account, payment and privacy terms. BAP Technical Solutions does not receive your full payment-card details. The app stores a local ad-free entitlement on your device so the purchase can continue to work offline, and it can ask the app store to restore or verify that entitlement. Apple, Google and your device may also process store activity, crash information or device diagnostics under their own settings and privacy terms.
Support messages
If you contact us, we use the information in your message to respond and resolve the enquiry. Your email provider processes that message under its own privacy terms.
